Current Research ProjectsSIP Trunking for Microsoft Unified Communications with Windows Hyper-VAs a joint research and testing solution between New Global Telecom (NGT) and Evangelyze Communications (EC), we have successfully implemented an internal, production-ready Microsoft Unified Communications environment running on Microsoft Windows Server 2008 with Hyper-V. Though Hyper-V is not supported by Microsoft in production nor is it supported by Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007, our testing is complete with full service functionality with voice and unified messaging features. sessions, and for general demo purposes. These kits run in a virtual
environment using Microsoft Virtual Server and include the following

This demo kit can be used to demonstrate the features of Microsoft's Unified Communications platform integrated with the Microsoft Office System and showcases UC Voice and Unified Messaging functionality with sample users. The kits are sold in individual laptop versions, separate Virtual PC image packages, and a voice package that includes a LG|Nortel IP Phone and an AudioCodes gateway device. The Evangelyze Communications Research & Development team is on the brink of releasing the first branch office / small office solution for the Microsoft Unified Communications platform by integrating Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007, Microsoft Office Communicator 2007, Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, and Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 with Microsoft Response Point. This solution will enable integrated software-based services to control features of the Microsoft Response Point device set inclusive of the Response Point Base Unit IP-PBX and Phone Devices. The end solution will result in the ability to allow Microsoft Office Communicator to control the phone device features of the Response Point phone devices. This initial release will also enable true Unified Messaging capabilities provided by Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 through the Response Point IP-PBX Base Unit device to enable voice-mail to e-mail and playback and deletion of messages through Microsoft Office Outlook. The Evangelyze Communications ZuneStation is a hardware-based device mount for the Microsoft Zune 80GB device. The ZuneStation provides security for the Zune device by providing a bracket that can be mounted to a surface, includes a wireless alarm, and a built-in audio/video kit to enable the Zune to be connected to an external audio/speaker system. This solution will be tested and is implied for use where the Zune device is the central control of music. Evangelyze Communications believes this solution will enable the Zune device to be a primary Parked Call and On-Hold music solution for the Microsoft Response Point system to secure a Zune device adjacent to a Response Point OEM Base Unit device. ^ Top |
