SmartChat Widget appears as offline.
1. Check the queue status using the status monitor
http://smartchat.yourdomain.com/ECSmartChat/agent/QueueMonitor.aspx
The number represents the number of agents available, if it says 0 - there is no one available and SmartChat will be offline
2. Log into CWA or Communicator using the anonymous user account
If there is a discrepancy between the number of users with a status of online or busy in CWA vs the status monitor in (1) restart the app pool in IIS.
Restart the app pool by logging into the server running SmartChat (often the CWA server itself or a frontend server), open th eIIS management console, expand Application Pools. Locate the pool running SmartChat by selecting easch pool and looking in the list of applications. Then right click the app pool and choose 'Recycle'
